About Bansko
Bansko is the newest Bulgarian winter resort, only recently discovered by us here in the UK, and therefore it is relatively unspoilt by over development. It is situated near the Glazane River in the north-eastern foot of Pinn below the highest and most beautiful part of the mountain.
About Pamporovo
Pamporovo in the Rhodope Mountains is widely regarded as the most picturesque of Bulgarian ski resorts. It's also blessed with a beautiful climate. In winter, the pine-clad mountains, crowned by Snejanka Peak, protect the town from strong winds and prevent snow cover from drifting. It's also the sunniest ski resort in Europe, with 120 sunny days during the ski season, from December to April. Summe r is hot, dry and sunny: perfect for outdoor sport like hiking, fishing and mountain biking.
